Jennifer Evert is a Divisional Assistant Vice President at American Financial Group (AFG). AFG is the parent company of Great American Insurance Group which is engaged in property and casualty insurance, focusing on specialized commercial products, and in the sale of traditional fixed and fixed-indexed annuities. In her role, Jennifer overseas information services for the corporation, performing research and analysis on industries, companies and markets as well as managing subscription information services for the enterprise.Jennifer has worked at AFG since 2007. Prior to joining AFG, she was in product development and served as the Director of News & Business Content at LexisNexis. She started her career as a news librarian at the San Antonio Express-News, assisting the newsroom with research and training. Jennifer received her MLS from the University of Texas, Austin, an MA from Ohio State and her BA from the College of William & Mary. In addition to her activities with SIR, she is active in the Special Libraries Association, Insurance & Employee Benefits Division.
