Chris joined USAA in 2014 as Vice President, Health Solutions, and is responsible for leading the collaborative effort to develop, deliver and manage health insurance products which help protect the financial lives of our military members and their families.

Chris completed his undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems at Texas Tech University and has an Executive MBA from Washington University, Olin School of Business.

Chris began his professional career as a management consultant for Arthur Andersen LLP and, over the past 20 years, has held various leadership roles at prominent healthcare companies including Express Scripts, Anthem/WellPoint, and Walgreens.

Chris has a passion for developing solutions that help protect the health needs of military families and has had the opportunity to lead several new business ventures related to retail health clinics, private exchanges, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and chronic disease management.

Chris and his wife Linda, are both veterans of the USAF, and are the proud parents of three sons and a daughter, one of whom is actively serving in the USAF at Kirtland AFB.
